Λ∗-hypernuclei in phenomenological nuclear forces
The Λ∗-hypernuclei, which are bound states of Λ(1405) and nuclei, are discussed as a possible interpretation of the K̄-nuclei. The Bonn and Nijmegen potentials are extended and used as a phenomenological potential between Λ∗ and N . The Kexchange potential is also considered in the Λ∗ and N interaction. The two-body (Λ∗N) and three-body (Λ∗NN) systems are solved by a variational method. It is sh...
متن کاملΛ-CDM Universe: A Phenomenological Approach With Many Possibilities
Modern cosmological research rests heavily on observational data. Any theoretical model should be corroborated with observation for understanding the viability of that model. Present cosmological picture, emerging out of this theory-observation combination, reveals that, the total energy-density of the Universe is dominated by two dark components, viz., dark matter and dark energy. Observationa...
متن کاملScenario of inflationary cosmology from the phenomenological Λ models
Choosing the three phenomenological models of the dynamical cosmological term Λ, viz., Λ ∼ (ȧ/a), Λ ∼ ä/a and Λ ∼ ρ where a is the cosmic scale factor, it has been shown by the method of numerical analysis for the considered non-linear differential equations that the three models are equivalent for the flat Universe k = 0 and for arbitrary non-linear equation of state. The evolution plots for d...
متن کاملPhenomenological Constraints on Λ̄ and λ 1 Zoltan Ligeti and
Combining the experimental data on the inclusive decays D → X eν, B → X eν and B → X τ ν, we find severe constraints on the Λ̄ and λ1 parameters of the Heavy Quark Effective Theory. In particular, we get Λ̄ < 0.7GeV. Our constraints further imply mc ≥ 1.43GeV and mb ≥ 4.66GeV. We discuss future prospects of improving these bounds and their phenomenological
متن کاملThe Dynamic Cosmological Term Λ: Some Aspects of Phenomenological Models
Choosing a phenomenological model of Λ, viz. Λ ∼ Ḣ, it has been shown that this model of Λ is equivalent to other three types of Λ, Λ ∼ (ȧ/a)2, Λ ∼ ä/a and Λ ∼ ρ. Through an indirect approach, it has also been possible to put a limit on the deceleration parameter q. It has been shown that if q becomes less than −1, then this model can predict about the presence of phantom energy.
